Feeling overwhelmed, low, or quietly struggling?
You might be coping on the outside but feel overwhelmed, anxious, or unsure why things feel so hard.
Maybe you've been trying to manage things on your own for a while. Maybe you've become so used to how you're feeling that you're not even sure whether it's “bad enough” to ask for help.
You don't have to have everything figured out before you reach out. Sometimes, having someone to talk to can be the first step towards feeling a little more like yourself again.
I'm Laura, and I am here to listen.
A chance to talk, ask questions and see whether counselling feels right for you — with no pressure and no obligation.

Why Talk With Laura?
Choosing a counsellor can feel like a big step. You might feel nervous about opening up, unsure what to expect, or wonder whether your problems are “big enough” to talk about.
My aim is to make that first step feel a little easier.
A space where you can be yourself
You don't need to have the right words or know exactly what you need from counselling. You can simply come as you are and talk about whatever is on your mind. I'll listen without judgement and we'll take things at your pace.
Someone who will really listen
Sometimes, having someone genuinely listen can make a bigger difference than we realise. I'll take the time to understand what's going on for you, without making assumptions or telling you what you should do.
Counselling that's personal to you
There isn't a one-size-fits-all approach to counselling. Your experiences are unique to you, and we'll work together to explore what feels important and what you would like to understand, change or work through.
A calm and comfortable setting
If you choose in-person counselling, my counselling room in Caergwrle is a calm, relaxed and private space. I also offer telephone and video counselling if you'd prefer to talk from your own home.
Confidential and private
What you share with me is treated with respect and confidentiality, so you can feel able to talk openly about the things that matter to you. I'll explain the limits of confidentiality clearly when we start working together.
Support without judgement
You don't have to pretend you're okay, and you don't have to have everything figured out before you come to counselling.
Whether you're feeling overwhelmed, anxious, low, stuck, or simply know that something doesn't feel right, I'm here to listen and support you.
You don't have to work everything out on your own.
